This is a high-performance option for weathered wood. After cleaning the wood I use trade-only chemical treatments to strip away organic biofilm and "grey" sun-damaged fibres. This restores the original look of the timber and is the perfect preparation if you intend to apply your own oil or sealer.

3. The Full XTX Restoration (Clean, Sand & Seal)

The premium service for a "like-new" finish. My detailed restoration process includes:

  • Gentle Pressure Wash: Removing surface dirt without "furring" the timber.

  • Biofilm Removal: Applying specialist chemicals to lift deep-seated grime and restore natural wood tones.

  • Sanitisation: An HSE-approved biocide treatment to eliminate any remaining fungal spores.

  • Precision Sanding: Once fully dry, I sand the surface to ensure a smooth, professional finish.

  • Oil-Based Sealing: I apply a deeply enriching, premium oil-based sealer. You can choose from 18 professional shades, from natural oak to deep ebony.
